New blog to check out/In Which our brave heroine pleas for help!

Hey there,

Apart from the crappy day I've had, with the sore hip and having to buy 4 new tires because a sidewall sort of exploded on the freeway, and getting crap at work about showing up for a half day of work...I'm sort of okay.

I'm exhausted, and have been sleeping a lot lately, despite massive amounts of work that needs to be done.
And, while on 2Peas, I found a lovely link to a contest on a website that is really cool!

The website is secondsister suaviloquy and you can be entered to win a free CUSTOM blog template via a company called ebsi. Yes, go to secondsister suaviloquy and put in for a chance to win. Or don't put in for the chance to win and just say 'GothamGal' needs a new custom blog template because she's had a rough day/week/month.

Or not.

I don't care.

I just want to curl into a ball and sleep. And hopefully not be in too much pain with my hip.

Although, the good news is that with the new tires, my car doesn't automatically jump into the right lane if my hands are off the wheel. Good stuff, those expensive as all get out tires are.

Ildi Co Reveal Tomorrow

Hey there, blogging world!
I have a card I'm really happy about to reveal to you, featuring a brand spankin' new Ildi Co. Digi Stamp image.
And I shall be revealing it to you, my blogging friends, tomorrow evening. I won't say too much about it, but I will say that this features 2 of my favorite Ildi Co. types of characters.

Now, if you've read my blog, you should be able to guess what types of characters I like best, although ALL of Ildi's images are great. I challenge you to guess what characters my card features. You can check out the Ildi Co store to guess--whoever guesses correctly will be entered to get a postcard from me during my upcoming vacation!!!

You have until I post the image of my card tomorrow night--let's say 10 PM eastern time. Good luck!

Hint: The image is not yet up on the store, but if you check my past Ildi Co. posts and cross reference it with the subject names (ex: Emotibots, Cuddles, etc.), you might be able to guess. One of them, I've posted quite a bit of.

Also, I will go ahead and set this up so that it stays on top for a day--good luck! I have a few other posts scheduled.

Company Shout Out: Bo Bunny

One of the cool things about TwoPeasInABucket.com is that it has a place for scrapbook companies to blog. I love this because it feels like I'm just that much closer to the company.

Anyway, one of the companies I've been most interested in lately, Bo Bunny is having a Halloween themed contest, where you add their site to your blog (and yes, I have a link on the right hand side of my blog for them) and they might come and visit you on Halloween.

Company blogs present a wonderful and unique opportunity--they can be informal and fun and showcase amazing product (which, by the way, Bo Bunny has in SPADES). I have some of their Halloween paper featured in this Bo Bunny blog post, the skulls and the bats and the trick or treat words. They really fun papers, priced really well for their quality. So, what are you waiting for, go check out Bo Bunny!

Please visit a fellow Pea

Pea Kayla Barker has just opened her etsy shop, and to celebrate, she's holding a contest for some beautiful, personalized cards.
Spink Studio has some great cards, stationary, postcards and almost anything else you can think of to send to your friends and family. The best part is that they can be custom, which adds that personal touch. The colors are bright, the prices are good and I definitely recommend Spink Studios to anyone looking to send out something professional, clean and fun.
My personal favorite is the chandelier cards, which can be personalized. They'd be great as invitations, thank you cards, annoucements--the possibilities are endless.

Be sure to stop by Kayla's shop soon, so you can enter to win some personalized cards. And be sure to bookmark the site, so you can see what other wonderful things Spink Studios has in store for us in the coming months.

Good news!

Wow!So that layout I showed you in my last post...It won a contest. I got $5 in store credit, which isn't bad... Made me smile today.
It's good to get surprises.
I think I'm going to use the money for some more digital elements--I can't believe how much I love doing this stuff again since I've gotten Photoshop!!! Yay!
